This lipstick is pretty much perfect for me. It's a great matte that even when it dries, it doesn't dry my lips out like other mattes do. It's just the right consistency. Sure, you may have to build on it with a couple layers to get more intense color, but I find that even when it goes on sheer, it looks good. And it doesn't dry into a hard, thick shell like other mattes. It's light with a lot of color. Sometimes I do add a little red if I want a more rosy tint, but most of the time I just leave the beautiful color that it is. It's brown with just the right amount of reddish tint. I absolutely love this color (Berlin).I tried Dubai, once, thinking that I'd like the browner tint without the red, but the color doesn't really show on my skin so well for some reason. For reference I'm light skinned with neutral to warm tones with medium brown hair (usually died with maroon and burgundy hues). And bottom line, you can't beat the price for quality. I hope NYX will always make this formula and also continue with this color. Please don't ever discontinue.The tube I received did not have a plastic seal and seemed used. It had an unpleasant smell. I contacted Amazon and received a refund.I bought the same product at a department store and I love it! Lip liner helps it stay in place and prevents feathering. It does need occasional touch ups as it fades a bit, making the lip liner stand out (no thank you 1990s), but the color is bright and fun!I'm not sure how it looks if you have darker skin tones. I have very fair skin with reddish blonde hair and have struggled to find a red lip shade that works for me. After reading an article about red lipsticks, I saw this shade might be a good match. The color does indeed work well, especially if your skin tones are cool and look better with silver rather than gold jewelry.I recommend this product, but make sure it is wrapped in a hard plastic coating with a perforated tab to open the bottle.So this looks SO weird when it goes on wet but when it dries almost like a powder - which looks really nice! This def isn't a matte lip that's going to look painted on unless you really build it - and it is buildable. It's a bit more natural looking with just one or two layers so you have some options. It does fade over the day but it doesn't look patchy and weird, it just gets kinda less intense. Which is fine by me! It's a great daily liquid lip for folks like me who don't want to stress about their look too muchNot the best liquid lipstick I’ve used but it gets the job done. I do like the velvety texture of this lipstick. The quality is bad, lipstick stays on the lips for 15 minutes maximum, very uneven apply. I suspect them of being old if it really is original NYX lipsticks but that doesnt explain the different colours in the actual lipstick. I ordered Monte Carlos(very uneven apply and light red) and Zurich(the colour inside was very light bright pink). The lips dry and look crusty. Do not recommend!The photo doesn’t reproduce the colour of this terribly well ... in reality, if you look at the photo of Madrid, that is what this colour comes out like ... a more blue-based dark pink than it appears in it’s own photo. As I’m more of an `eyes’ gal I don’t go for vivid lipsticks, preferring a natural look for lips. If I apply this straight from the tube the effect is way, way too dense and flat, making my lips appear thin ... the opposite of what I’m trying to do!!! But I have a creamy lip balm in a pot and by mixing a tiny bit of this (it’s highly pigmented) with the balm, I’ve achieved a colour that I’m happy with; something altogether more sheer and glossy. I use a lip liner and fill in with the coloured balm, using a brush, and like the effect very much. If you’re looking for a more coral-based tone you’d need to select another shade.Beautiful beautiful beautiful!! I am so very happy with this product and it has met my expectations in every way. I have been wanting the nyx matte lip creams for months but have never got round to purchasing so when I finally decided to purchase one, you can imagine how excited I was when it came!The cream is velvety smooth and glides onto the lips like a dream. The colour is opaque in one coat and it really is a gorgeous pink colour. One thing I would recommend is going on YouTube and viewing a lip swatch video when deciding which colour you would like as the colour of the lip cream is different to the colour of the tube you see on the photos.The cream dries down to a matte finish but it isn't like a liquid lipsticks, I don't find it uncomfortable to wear, it isn't massively drying like liquid lipstick and unfortunately, doesn't stay in place quite as well. However, it does stay put for a pretty decent amount of time.I'm really happy with my purchase and am so glad that I wasn't disappointed as I had been wanting it for so long! I will definitely be purchasing a lot of the other colours once pay day falls!
