I got these cans to take small amounts of spices with me during a week-long trip. I was on a strict eating plan & wanted to make meals in my hotel room without needing to buy a bunch of spices that I'd only need a tsp or two of. They worked great! No issues through TSA. Each tin holds about a tablespoon. The McCormick caps fit on them, too, so I used one of these caps for sprinkling sea salt onto food.
