Reference: white Asian with thick lips, like the ones the look like pillows but nothing friggin keeps them moisturized. Because waxy balms just put a barrier but are too viscous to actually moisturize the lips. Causing me to have to exfoliate frequently and then reapply waxy balm for a barrier.BEHOLD balms with spices and medicated work. But I got so sick of the menthol smell. I knew liquids penetrate better, so I used a barrier facial lotion and regular balm on top to make it work. I used blistex and Burt's medicated and love those, but due to the amount of wax a lot of it just SAT on top of my dead skin instead of penetrating it. Because who exfoliates 24/7, I did I nightly. These balms are less wax more oil, but balanced enough to where is not liquid. I would NOT put these in your pocket. I keep it in my bag away from any heat. Or my cardigan, layered AWAY from my body. If you're into cooking and art, you know different textures mean different cons AND pros.So here are the PROs: its definitely-solid-but-less-waxy texture allows it to penetrate the top layers of my lips and the oil actually HYDRATES not just creates a barrier. How can I tell you ask? The pale layers barely trying to look decent ,hanging on for life before it gives up and I exfoliate it again, becomes PINK. Lol, it becomes rehydrated haha. The CINNAMON helps with circulation. Spices in general. I love this stuff please don't ever stop making it. And for the price point YES. Thank you because not everyone can buy 3x balms for, (6.00x3 ahem ahem other name brands) 24.00. So thank you moon valley.Cons : yes it's less waxy. So if I give you cold butter to penetrate a slice of bread, you'd be like "that's rude girl, I wish I had melted butter". That's what this is like. Waxy balms be like the COLD BUTTER on your room temp bread. This more melty balm means be careful where you put it. But BRO it sinks in that piece of toast! Ya know what I mean ??What more could I ask for. And for the reviews saying omg it burns. Y'all have not needed medicated balms before. I used to have to use the white ointment medicated blistex balm. Like my dentist was like "do better". This is better ? stay spicy fwends?
